Petit Luna Signet Ring
The third in our Petit Signet series, a smaller take on our signet rings. A diamond-shaped recess holds a waning crescent moon, the silver moon emerging from the darkened background in stark contrast.
The waning crescent appears as the moon's light decreases, and is often associated with endings, transitions, and letting go. It marks the completion of a cycle, encouraging us to release what no longer serves us, whether emotions, habits, or situations. And while it closes the lunar cycle, it also leads into the next: a space for renewal, growth, and transformation.

The signet tradition
The word signet comes from the Latin signum, meaning "sign" or "mark." Signet rings were historically worn as symbols of authority and pressed into sealing wax to leave the wearer's identifying mark. They were so personal that they were often destroyed after the owner passed, so no one else could use them.
Over time, your ring will gather scratches, scars, and memories. Each of these perfect imperfections marks a moment in your life's timeline, and may darken with wear, adding to the raw beauty and character of your piece.

- Remove for heavy lifting and hands-on work, and keep away from harsh chemicals.
- Polish with a jewelry polishing cloth. Avoid brushing the recessed oxidized areas, silver dips, and polishing pastes to preserve the finish.
