Ascension Earring

This earring appeared while I was in the grips of obsessing over medieval/gothic elements in jewelry, so it was an instant buy.

This is such a perfect little earring. Small and light enough to be comfortable for all-day wear, but with enough strong elements to be impactful. I often find myself staring at it immediately when opening my jewelry box. This earring also ended up being the final push for me to get that new piercing that I've been putting off for years because I wanted to stack this with the Julien dagger earring on the ear that only had one lobe piercing, but that will have to wait 'til the new piercing heals. But when it does, oh it will be glorious.

The backing is really secure and it actually needs a bit more effort to remove than the typical butterfly backing. The craftsmanship is immaculate though I think I would like the finish to be a little darker (though this is not a problem since 925 silver darkens after a while). Turnaround time is some of the fastest I've experienced amongst the indie jewellers I've purchased from and shipping is even faster. Overall a great experience and I will definitely purchase from Vivian again. ♡
